Best Practices in Job Posting

Dear recruiter, you are requested to follow the simple steps for efficient use of our job posting in We have a user-friendly algorithm which highlights the jobs in popular search-engines.

1. Use of precise “Job Title” (max. 40 characters allowed)

Example: CATIA Design Engineer, BIM Detailer, Structural Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, etc.

2. Fill or select all the required fields such as “Job Type”, “Industry Type”, “Experience”, “Salary” and “Location”.

Do’s: Enter language preferences using commas without a space.

3. Qualification Details: Please be specific in entering the “Eligibility”, “Desired Skills”.

Example1: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical

Don’ts: Avoid using different qualifications which might confuse users and not generate enough applications.

- Excellent in communications.

Don’ts: Avoid specifying EMAIL IDs, WEBSITE ADDRESSES, MOBILE Nos., Name of any Person or Company, etc.

Proper explanation of job responsibilities and work environment is necessary to attract maxmimum applications.
Candidates prefer joining those companies which provides maximum details of work hours per week, salary benefits, incentives, etc. If company provides any training to its employees it should be clearly mentioned in the JD.

5. Add Job Tags: It is necessary to select the most appropriate “Job Tag” to make your AD more search engine & browser friendly.

Don’ts: Avoid selecting more than two (02) tags in one job advertisement. It is advisable to use only one tag to get the best visibility which is unique to distinguish your AD from others.

6. Application Deadline & Company Email: Specify the most suitable deadline to receive maximum response to your AD. Effectively one web-page takes almost 4-5 days to get indexed in most search engines.
